A top-class coaching team impresses in Amstetten

The quality of the training was ensured by an exceptionally experienced goalkeeping coaching team. With coaches active at top teams such as Wiener Sportclub, First Vienna FC, and the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) Women's Academy, the participants in Amstetten had the unique opportunity to learn from the best. In five groups, they meticulously honed their fundamental goalkeeping techniques and tactical understanding.

Particularly pleasing was the return of former professional goalkeeper Simon Manzoni , who not only runs his own goalkeeping school in Vienna but also trains the goalkeepers of Wiener Sportclub. Simon Manzoni will continue to organize further KEEPERDAYS and goalkeeper camps for our academy. The top-class team was completed by:

  • Markus Bachhofner (formerly goalkeeper coach Bundesliga women, SC Kirchberg and USG Alpenvorland)
  • Reinhard Dietl (ÖFB Women's Academy St. Pölten)
  • Kristijan Basic (First Vienna)
  • Adin Mehmedovic (FC Kapelln)

A big thank you goes to SKU Ertl Glas Amstetten , and especially to youth coordinator Alexander Stingl , who ensured that the goalkeepers had ideal training conditions on natural grass.
