That was the last KEEPERDAY 2022: A look back at Mistelbach
The KEEPERDAYS tour 2022 concluded in Mistelbach (Lower Austria) with a training session held in ideal conditions. As usual, the participants were treated to a top-notch team of coaches!
First KEEPERDAY in the Weinviertel region – a premiere!
For the first time, we were guests of FC Spusu Mistelbach , enjoying beautiful November weather, albeit with chilly temperatures. A KEEPERDAY had never before taken place in the Weinviertel region! The response was correspondingly enthusiastic: a total of 27 goalkeepers , some from the local area and others from Vienna, didn't want to miss this exciting morning of training. The field of participants was also extremely international – in addition to a goalkeeper from the USA, goalkeepers from Slovakia also took part.
A top-class coaching team guaranteed the best support.
With Simon Manzoni (former professional player for Admira Wacker, goalkeeping coach for Wiener Sportclub), Jaromir Pitak (former goalkeeping coach of the Czech women's national team), Christian Weber (Christian Weber Goalkeeping School), Sebastian Gessl (former professional player for Karlsruher SC and SV Horn), Kristjan Basic (First Vienna FC), Semir Karalic (ASK Eggendorf), and Martin Jonovic (Wiener Sportclub II), we were once again able to guarantee an exceptionally good coaching ratio. Therefore, training took place exclusively in groups of four! Our participants thus learned only from the most experienced goalkeeping coaches. The focus was on improving basic technique and imparting tactical fundamentals.
