First KEEPERDAY in Portugal: A complete success! 🇵🇹

What a fantastic end to the 2023 KEEPERDAY season! On June 18, 2023, the Goalkeeping.com Academy made history, reaching its fifth European country. The very first Goalkeeping.com KEEPERDAY took place at the renowned Portuguese club CD Paços de Brandão – a milestone for international goalkeeper training!

Intensive training with top coaches

Over 20 highly motivated young goalkeepers participated in this intensive, four-hour training day. Under the expert guidance of experienced coaches Raphael Mello, Madeira Mendes, Miguel Paiva, and Marco Rodriguez, the participants enjoyed a varied program. Practical exercises were completed on the impeccably maintained artificial turf pitch at CD Paços de Brandão, honing both technical skills and tactical understanding. Following this, the coaches reinforced theoretical and tactical basics through video analysis – a perfect combination of theory and practice for aspiring goalkeeping talents.
