World-class training at Lake Attersee: The 18th PRO ELITE Goalkeeper Camp sets new standards
From July 11th to 13th, 2025, Weyregg am Attersee once again transformed into a mecca for aspiring young goalkeepers from all over Europe. The 18th PRO ELITE Goalkeeper Camp was a resounding success: With 63 goalkeepers aged eight to seventeen from an impressive eight nations, we not only celebrated a new participation record but also achieved a level of athletic performance that is unparalleled.

International coaching level: Experts from the top leagues
We are particularly proud of the high-caliber members of our coaching team. For the first time, we were delighted to welcome Amro Khalid from the renowned Leicester City Academy. As goalkeeping coach at one of England's most prestigious youth academies, he brought valuable new perspectives to our camp.
With Marko Lörinc from Slovenia, who works at the NK Nafta 1903 academy, we were able to secure another internationally experienced coach for our team. Czech goalkeeping coach Jaromir Pitak also impressed with his outstanding expertise. Domenico Botticella traveled from Italy – a former goalkeeper in the Italian first and second divisions, who impressed with his professional experience and inspired our participants not only technically, but also personally.

High-profile support: Influencers and regional figures
King Karol , an influencer and YouTuber with a large following, also generated enthusiasm among the young people, making every training session a special experience with his easygoing manner. He inspired our young talents not only athletically, but also through his media presence.
The team was complemented by regional figures such as Raul Scarlat, founder of the Linz Football School, who particularly impressed with his expertise in coordination and ball control. Filip Dramac, the number one goalkeeper for the Upper Austrian league team Friedburg, also participated with full commitment and shared his practical experience.

Intensive training program: Eleven key areas for maximum development
The camp offered an intensive and varied training program with eleven clearly defined focus areas. Among other things, the goalkeepers worked on:
- Side flat balls: Exercises ranging from simple tapping movements to maximum push-off.
- Defending against sideways, mid-height balls: increasing from initial reactions to long diving dives.
- Basic catching techniques: Central balls aimed at the body – low, medium height and high.
- One-on-one situations: Training of short and long blocks, active attacking of the ball and early clearance.
- Crosses, corner kicks and high crosses: focus on orientation, jumping behavior and the right timing.
- Positioning: Optimizing positioning in the goal area.
This comprehensive program ensured the holistic development of the participants and optimally prepared them for the challenges of goalkeeping. The 18th PRO ELITE Goalkeeper Camp at Lake Attersee was therefore not only a record-breaking camp, but also a milestone in the development of young goalkeepers.
